Festival Coordinator, Corporate Advancement (Seasonal role)

Employment dates: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 thru Friday, March 6, 2020

Pay rate: $15.75 per hour


Considerations: This position works full time in our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City in January during the Sundance Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned.†
A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.

Position Summary: Coordinates benefits and recognition for an assigned group of corporate supporters and supports projects within Sundance Institute's internal operations group†

Duties and Responsibilities:†

  • Provides account management, which includes benefits administration and logistics facilitation for corporate supporters, as defined in their respective contracts, e.g. enforcing ticketing policies and procedures, venue and event integrations.
  • Facilitates assigned projects including ticketing, credentials, logistics, volunteers, events, press, social media, etc., which includes close collaboration with internal departments
  • Routes corporate logos and copy for approval and delivery by deadline.
  • Assists department and select supporters with Festival planning and administration as requested.†
  • Ensures corporate branding and activation is fulfilled at assigned venues and events.
  • Supports onsite department operations at Festival HQ office, ensuring superior customer service is† provided at all times
  • Supports private screenings and reserved seating at theatres for Corporate groups as requested.†
  • Enters accurate records in corporate advancement database. Compiles post-fulfillment audit materials such as thank you gifts, tax deduction statements, mailings, Festival demographics, etc.
  • Completes a written summary for each assigned account, including completed activation, benefit administration, archiving project details, and listing recommendations for future Festivals.†
  • Provides administrative support for the Corporate Partnerships team as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid driverís license and successful completion of DMV background check.
  • 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate accounts, or related.†
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.†
  • Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.†
  • Able to mitigate conflict and facilitate positive customer relations.†
  • Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.†

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google products.
  • Experience with proofreading corporate branding print and electronic signage.
