Festival Coordinator, Signage Production (Seasonal role)

Employment dates: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 thru Friday, February 14, 2020

Pay rate: $15.75 per hour


Considerations: This position works in our Park City, UT office. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned.

Position Summary: Coordinates logistical and administrative duties to produce branded signage for the Sundance Film Festival.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Works closely with the Marketing Manager to establish deadlines and coordinate the work schedule of signage designers.
  • Routes design files to internal departments for approval.
  • Coordinates signage design, installation, delivery, and break down timelines.
  • Works with and coordinates with print vendor on sending files, shipping, and receiving details.
  • Receives signage from printer and inventories/stores all signs in the warehouse.
  • Organizes files and archives all artwork files.
  • Tracks and updates the signage budget.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy, obtains approvals, and submits to Budget Manager for timely payment.
  • Completes a comprehensive wrap report.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • 2 years experience in marketing print production logistics or related.
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information. 
  • Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes and perform tasks accurately.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
  • Knowledge of Graphic Design, Wayfinding, Typography, and printed materials.
  • Experience in large format printing.
