POSITION OVERVIEW
The Festival Associate Manager, Theater Operations is charged with driving the pre-Festival planning and implementation to ensure successful daily operations and positive audience experiences within assigned theaters.
Working closely under the direction of the Institute Senior Manager, Production and Theater Operations and the Festival Manager, Theater Operations, the Festival Associate Manager supports Sundance Institute’s commitment to fulfilling the vision of a successful and positive in-person Festival experience for all artists and patrons.
This temporary position works full-time from Monday, October 23, 2023 through Friday, February 16, 2024 and will be required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. This position is based out of our Park City, Utah office and will be expected to perform onsite work duties as of Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Employees may start in a commutable distance to Park City, UT or remotely from a state we currently legally operate in, until the required onsite work date listed above.
A total of ten (10) roles are available, seven (7) of which will be based in Park City during the Festival, and three (3) of which will be based out of Salt Lake City during the Festival. Those based in Salt Lake City will not be eligible for Festival provided lodging, and applicants local to Utah are preferred.
