POSITION OVERVIEW
The Festival Associate Manager, Partnerships is charged with managing an assigned group of Sundance Film Festival partners, including corporate sponsors, nonprofit groups, and in-kind partners.
Working under the direction of Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, this role also manages assigned projects within Sundance Institute’s internal operations group.
This temporary position works full time (40 hours per week) from Wednesday, July 23, 2025 through Friday, February 13, 2026 and requires extended hours, including evenings and weekends to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. The majority of this position’s work can be executed remotely out of any of our operating states, until the department comes together in Park City, UT in January to support the in-person elements of the Festival.
Top priorities include but are not limited to…
Managing accounts and administering benefits for assigned partnerships, including scheduling, leading, and notating weekly partner calls, ensuring all contractual benefits and recognition are fulfilled, executing customized activation opportunities, and serving as the main Festival liaison for assigned partners.
Managing assigned projects for the Corporate Partnerships team, including serving as the main lead for the Partnerships team on marketing recognition, signage, content, private screenings, theater operations, ticketing, assigned venues, online platform, press, social media, delivery and distribution, etc.
Collaborating with internal Sundance departments to ensure partner deliverables are fulfilled and partners are satisfied with their Festival experience.
Creating tracking documents, timelines, run of shows, and external guideline sheets.
Maintaining accurate and updated records in departmental databases and tracking documents.
Serving an integral role in department operations, ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Compiling post-Festival materials, including photos, thank-yous, tax deduction statements, and wrap reports.
Completing a written summary for each account and project, including completed activation, benefit administration, archiving project details, and listing recommendations for future Festivals.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
3 years experience in account management, relationship management, brand partnerships, event management, or related.
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to mitigate conflict and facilitate positive customer relations.
Proficiency in Google Applications and/or project management software.
Adaptability to take on new tasks in an evolving event landscape.
Valid driver’s license and successful completion of MVR background check preferred.
