Festival Production Coordinator, Content

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Festival Production Coordinator, Content, supports logistical needs such as scheduling, renting equipment, finding vendors, communicating location instructions, and collecting paperwork, invoices, and overall coordination of production logistics.

Working closely under the supervision of the Festival Production Manager, Content, the Coordinator will help ensure the safety, well-being, and efficiency of the production team is optimized and prioritized. The Coordinator will also work closely with and support the Content Producer.

This temporary position works full time from Monday, November 18, 2024 or Monday, December 16, 2024 through Friday, February 14, 2025 and will be required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. This position must be based within a commutable distance to our Park City, UT office in order to work on-site in a hybrid capacity throughout its employment. A total of two (2) roles are available.

Top priorities include but are not limited to…

  • Coordinating various workflows to ensure deadlines are met for the Video Content team.

  • Scheduling flights and transportation, lodging, and other logistics for contractors, working with team members to ensure accurate information.

  • Setting up organized systems and templates for workflow and scheduling use for the Video Content team.

  • Creating daily schedules for Festival coverage (video and photography creation) as directed.

  • Prepping team vehicles with appropriate equipment, including route directions, etc.

  • Scheduling equipment rentals, deliveries, shipments, and office technical needs, etc. as directed.

  • Supporting field teams and providing guidance to volunteers to ensure volunteers understand responsibilities and are effective in their roles.

  • Acting as a liaison between Festival vendors, employees, and the Video Content team.

  • Ensuring the office area is clean and stocked with all necessary supplies during the Festival.

  • Completing a comprehensive Festival wrap report as directed.

  • Ensuring all paperwork, receipts, and other important documents are well-organized during wrap.

  • Providing transportation support for Content team members to various locations and venues in Park City and the greater Salt Lake City area, including driving a Festival-provided vehicle and assisting with schedule planning.

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Valid driver’s license and successful completion of MVR background check preferred.

  • 2 years experience coordinating production logistics or related.

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a variety of people.

  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to problem-solve.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

  • Ability to transport items up to 50 lbs.
